K.I.B.S. is not just an academic institution! K.I.B.S.'s purpose is to prepare each student the best possible for what that student is going to have to do in his life as a faithful, spiritual servant of God's. To do this he must be trained not only in the word of God and dedication to God but also in the "how to do it" aspects of his life of discipleship. This requires the knowledge to answer the questions of those who may ask him (II Tim 2:15) and best be able to train others to do the same (II Tim. 2:2). To be able to train properly for the rest of ones life within just two years is impossible! However, a good foundation for that preparation can be laid within the two years if the time is most efficiently and effectively utilized. To do this K.I.B.S. tries to assure the student that every moment is given to his/her betterment for the service to which they are dedicating themselves. Two of the ways of this training are here.

One. Faculty attempts to take the students monthly on training trips to local churches, prayer abbeys, training programs, etc. to give them the experience to see first hand and ask the ones in charge, questions as to why these programs are succeeding, failing, static etc. and learn the 'Why's of the Christian experience and growth of the church and it's supportive institutions.

Second. During these trips, rather than waste the time of travel, gospel songs are sung, the students discuss with their accompanying teachers their questions. Also there are questions that the school feels the students should know so as to assure their own understanding and also be able to answer the questions of others. These questions are listed below:
