Bro. Parsley's family consists
of his wife Kwihwa, their three grown children Robin, Eric, Tyson,
and their youngest daughter, Chodi, who is still at home. He comes
to our program with a wide variety of experience. He began his ministry
in Korea in 1954-5 while in the US Air Force and returned to work
full time in 1960. From 1960-80 he was the director of the Church
of Christ's Benevolent Program. He served the Evangelism Research
Teacher as Director from 1969-83. He served Korea Christian College
from 1969-80 as a professor of Bible, and from 1981-83 as Acting
President. He also has served for many years as the College Library
Director, Head of the Bible Department and on the College Board
as a Board Member and Auditor for several terms. He presently teaches
in the Graduate School. His education consists of a BA from Harding
University, a MA in Bible from Harding Graduate School of Bible
and Religion and a Ph.D. from Baptist Christian University in New
Testament with emphasis in Church Growth. He has also done post
graduate work at Pepperdine University and Fuller Theological Seminary.
He has preached the gospel since 1955 and has served two congregations
in America before coming to Korea. He is the founder of K.I.B.S.
and is serving as its President until today. He also teaches classes,
mainly in the New Testament and the practical field.
